FERRATUS A0 2010 is a modern, youthful wine in its design and conception, with a beautiful picota cherry red colour with violet highlights and sufficient depth to suit its style and purpose.
Its aromas largely recall red berries, with a slight floral touch and the nose provided by an exceptional ageing process, constantly seeking a modern feel. The fact that the malolactic fermentation of this wine has been carried out entirely in the barrel and that it has been aged and stirred on its own lees during this time is an original feature. The oak‐ageing time has varied between batches until subsequent blending, always seeking elegance and final balance.
In the mouth the wine is soft, ripe and appetising and the tannins appear polished and integrated but are still apparent. The resulting wine has personality but is easy to drink, with a fine, balanced structure and subtlety and elegance.
FERRATUS Sensations: unique
